Over the years, like it or not, surveillance has become a greater part of our lives. Some say, maybe a little too much a part of our lives. Anyway, it's here to stay and becoming more and more prevalent in businesses and to the dismay of many, even in our personal lives.
There is surveillance in banks, retail stores, on street corners, in train stations and airports, and the list goes on and on. Seems like slowly but surely someone is always watching, in many cases unbeknownst to the person or persons being observed. In some cases this is a great thing. At other times, it's not so great. It really depends upon what it is your doing when being observed.

right? Cameras are now so small they fit inside a shirt or jacket button. It has also been used to catch those in the act of committing a criminal act. It's amazing how fast someone will suddenly change their story when confronted with video evidence. So, there is some good to be derived from using surveillance.
Now for those that feel they are unnecessarily being surveilled, this is counter surveillance also known as countermeasures. This is something the observee can use to, well, fight back. It can get kind of crazy and very expensive. So the measure of privacy has to be measured against how important it is to protect. Like I said, it can get very expensive.
