Christmas is coming, you’ve got dozens of presents to buy, the larder is empty, the whole family is coming to stay, your decorations are out of date and you’re going loopy trying to cope!!
Calm down. Let the mouse take the strain. Really.
Presents
Buy your presents online. You can buy goods or tokens. You can have them delivered to you so you can gift wrap them, or you can have them delivered directly to the recipient’s door.
Many high street shops also have web sites. All those books, CDs, DVDs and computer games can be ordered online. Clothes, shoes (even aunty’s hankies or uncle’s socks) can be ordered online.
Why not buy someone special an ‘experience’ day? They can become a racing driver for a day, or be pampered in luxury.
Decorations and Trees
Yes – you can buy these online too. There are several companies that sell artificial trees and a whole range of decorations online.
Christmas Cards
Many charity cards can be ordered online. Look at your favourite charity’s site. Perhaps you’d like to make your cards. Buy the kits online and keep the kids occupied over those wet weekends. If you don’t want to send - continued below ...

Don’t spend hours trailing round the supermarket, becoming increasingly frustrated with the crowds and the noise and with the kids screaming to go home. Buy online. Several supermarkets allow you to shop online, and for a small fee will deliver your groceries directly to your door at a time of your choice.

Hampers – want to send a hamper of goodies to a friend/relative? There are several companies that specialise in delivering hampers of your choice to the recipient’s door.
