Hey Mom! Do you have a girl? Does she collect trading cards? Do you find yourself tired of being bombarded by sports cards, action-figure style trading cards, and cards geared towards the male population? Then you’ll love U Go Grl trading cards!
U Go Grl trading cards were designed by a girl, for girls. These cards are a great way to teach your pre-teen (tween) daughter about what else—being a girl! What I found really cool about these trading cards is the fact that they speak “teen.” For instance, as an adult, we would spell out “great” or “you,” but the cards use teen lingo - continued below ...

and therefore use words like, “gr8” and “u.” Another plus to the cards is that they instill good values in our daughters through life skills, grooming tips, and social skills. They remind our daughters how fun it is to interact with other girls by being respectful to one another. And they teach our daughters to play simple games, like Jacks.
I was a bit leery of introducing my daughter—the tomboy that she is—to this new set of playing cards. But to my surprise, she snatched up the cards and said, “These are cool.” Amazed, startled, and a bit confused, I asked her, “What? You like them?” Her 10-year-old face lit up with a bright big smile and said, “Yes, they’re cool.” Then she ran out of the room with them.
A week later, as I was preparing to write this review, I asked her for the cards. She said, “Mom! You said I could have them. They’re in my room, in a binder.” Well, what can I say? They must have been a huge hit because the only cards that go in her “precious” binder are the cards that mean the most to her.
