kill off the mosquitoes in the area. While chemicals are really the most powerful option, many do not like them because of how dangerous they can be to the environment. But, many cities and states that have infestations of mosquito carried viruses, such as West Nile Virus, this is the most effective means of treating them.

• You can also use electronic pest control which will detect, deter or eliminate any bugs that try to enter your home.

• Also, as a way of keeping them away, avoid having things around that they like -- the love water and swampy areas. Make sure that standing water in your area is dumped and cleaned up properly, no matter how big or small.

Mosquito control is quite necessary in one form or another.
